Skydiving Not only is this one of the best way’s to get your rocks off, it’s also a great way to raise money for a charity too! So what do you do? Well you drive to the airfield, pay the company to jump, then they take you up in a plane to around 12,000ft (after a crash course) then throw you out with a back-pack filled with linen and ropes. Sounds great doesn’t it? Hell yeah it does!
Go on Safari Everyone has been to the zoo, its old hat isn’t it? Well fear not because there is a safari park near you! No that isn’t going to cut it either. There’s nothing else for it we’re going to have to travel over to Africa so we can see this for ourselves. it’s okay taking the kids to the zoo or the ‘Safari Park’ but if you really want to feel at one with nature, then what you need to do is get yourself on a REAL Safari.
Bungee Jumping Bungee Jumping, the act of jumping from a; crane, bridge, helicopter or even a helicopter! What insanely mad person is going to jump from an extreme height; held to the earth by only a braided springy rope in a bid to get some adrenaline flowing? Well we are for one, and if you are reading this then you might be up for it as well! I say we all try it out, at least once anyway!
Take a Hot-Air Balloon Ride Another up, up and away type venture here; although you are not as free as if you were to go paragliding; Hot-air Balloon rides are great fun. However you are in the presence of mother nature for the duration of the ride so you will be flying pretty much anywhere the wind blows, as the old saying goes. This would be good for the romantics types that are reading this, if you like heights that is.
Fire-Walking. Okay so this is a bit of a random one, and I would not advise anyone to start a fire in their backyard and start walking it. If however you are inclined to get your feet hot and blackened by the glowing amber of hot coals then you definitely can do it in an appropriate environment. Fire-Walking has been a tradition in some cultures for some it’s a right of passage. So is this up your street?
There are few other things to do!
